I am delighted with the nomination of DELANO FRANK SABAJO from our Engineering
department as our 2019 AHATA EXCELLENCE AWARDS NOMINEE for
SUSTAINABILITY CHAMPION OF THE YEAR!

Frank is known for his warm, compassionate, caring and “make it happen” attitude. Frank
is also a long-time member of our Green, Health and Safety Committees. Frank does not
only put our Core Values in practice, he is our Environmental Advocate! Talk to Frank about
our Resort’s successfully obtaining our yearly EarthCheck Certification for many years in a
row and last year La Cabana was assessed as meeting MASTER Certification! As for
passing our Audits for Greening, Safety and Loss Prevention! Frank gets everyone in the

Resort involved and engaged in adhering to our certification and audits processes. He is a
real Team player!

All his efforts are geared towards our Resort’s Purpose: “We Create Memorable Vacations!” His
focus is to have our guests always enjoy the best environmental experience whether indoors or
outside when vacationing at our Resort. Compliance to our Environmental, Safety and Loss

Prevention Standards are a must. Frank conducts ongoing trainings on these subjects to
make sure all associates are prepared to meet our stringent audits.

Frank’s knowledge on above topics is extensive. Congratulations Frank! It is a privilege to
have Frank as our nominee for Sustainability Champion of the Year!
