To the AHATA Excellence Judges,

I am so pleased to have our dear Colleague Frank nominated once more for the Sustainability

Champion of the Year 2019.

For as long as I can recall, Frank has been with the La Cabana Family for many years
serving the same purpose as we all have been: Creating Memorable Vacations for our guests.

However, Frank takes it a step further: he not only sees that the guest is taken care of during
the vacation, but he ensures that the environment of the hotel is kept in tip top shape. He has
dedicated himself for years in ensuring that La Cabana holds its standard on being an eco-
conscious hotel and protecting the island of Aruba while providing excellent service.

He has always maintained an attitude of a gentleman, gives utmost respect to each of his

colleagues and remains shining a positive light throughout each day.

His dedication and commitment to the environment and to safety holds such an inspiration
to me and I’m sure to others. Frank understands the importance of the contribution he makes
to the sustainability of Aruba’s only economic pillar: Tourism. A clean and healthy
environment is important to guarantee the continuity of this industry, and that is a daily

reminder that Frank holds with his integrity the best.

Frank never fails to promote a safe working environment to prevent any accidents from
happening in the workplace. He walks around daily to monitor the workers and see to it that
follow the safety standard to ensure the safety of themselves and others.

Frank, thank you for your contribution to the Environment of Aruba. I wish you nothing
but success for your nomination. You are a winner!
