I am overjoyed once more with the nomination of Delano Frank Sabajo from our Engineering Department as our
Excellence Award Nominee for Sustainability Champion 2019!

I can begin this letter to describe Frank in one word: passionate. He is passionate about what he does, and he is
truly passionate about the environment and sustainability. Frank works in the Engineering Department and
besides his regular duties he is our Environmental specialist on property. He has shown tremendous dedication
towards the protection and conservation of our Island environment by implementing and participating in
many environmental activities. He is La Cabana’s prime person who helped the Resort to one of the highest
recognized levels in the Green and Environmentally friendly circles. Frank helped the Resort reach and
maintain Earth Check Master Certification. He is also one of the key people that made La Cabana winner of the
Sustainability Award 2017.

I admire Frank’s extensive knowledge and passion towards sustainability. Frank makes sure that he shares
this knowledge that he has to the entire La Cabana Team by spearheading the Green & Health Committee and by
constantly giving Environmental and Safety Awareness trainings to all La Cabana Associates.

Thank you, Frank, for all your hard work and dedication to the safety and environment of La Cabana and
Aruba. GOOD LUCK and bring home that trophy!
