Agile and quick he was soon coming home
with lots of rosettes and trophies!
So now totally hung up on the breed we took
on a second pin, a 2 year old Ruby Rose,
despite not having such a keen work ethic
as Red she still excelled in agility and is also
the best cuddle pup in the house!
So now we have 2, what’s another?
Well a huge step up as it happened for us,
as we took in Rocket Reg, an 11 month old
pin. He came with some issues, displaying
severe dog aggression and a dislike of
being handled. We had a long road ahead
of us, every tool I had in my dog training
box became redundant as he didn’t learn
anything the conventional way, mostly as he
didn’t like to be touched.
But I am pleased to report that with a lot of
hard work and perseverance he is a very
different dog today, now able to work around
hundreds of dogs with no reaction and is
happy to be held. He’s an amazing agility
dog and his enthusiasm is second to none!
From what seemed like we could be in a
nightmare, turned into a dream with Rocket.
He is by no means perfect, but who is....
Red, Ruby and Rocket So along came pin No4,
Mr Racer Ron!! By now we not only liked to
train and compete in agility, we were into
heel work to music too and this lead into
being asked to do demonstrations of tricks
at care homes, schools, discover dogs and
even Crufts!
(Life goal ticked off!)
Along with this we also liked to go paddle
boarding with the dogs, swim them at a
hydro pool regularly, do a bit of bikejor and
Cani x, and take part in charity events like
mud runs etc, going to photo shoots and
