                                            Afrikan Emancipation Student Movement(Afri-ESM), founded
                                            in 2016, is a student movement that looks at the psychological,
                                            economical and spiritual damages that black people are
               experiencing due to colonial and apartheid regime. Their main objective is to create a
               platform for Africans to engage on such issues and thereafter derive solutions.
               The movement hosts debates, workshops and seminars that are responsive to issues that are

               still faced by black people in the present century. On the 23  of August 2019, they hosted a
               debate where they dealt with the “Is Education Truly Free” topic and the movement will be

                                                        WESTVILLE POETRY NIGHT

                                               Westville Poetry Nights is a poetry movement that was
                                               established in 2017, by various individuals who were, at
                                               the time, prestigious students at the University of
                                               KwaZulu Natal.

               Westville Poetry Nights (WPN) is conglomerated by several artists. The movement
               provides a platform for artists to grow their craft and spread the reach of their work by
               allowing them to unchain their voices and breathe life of words to the audiences on
               campus and at large. The movement hosts their events at night and are therefore able to
