Delhi NCR’s top-ranked schools respected for its commitment to deliv-
ering child-centred progressive K-12 education.
A psychology postgraduate of Delhi University, Wahi began her career
as an elementary teacher at the top-ranked The Shri Ram School (TSRS),
Vasant Vihar, Delhi, where she quickly rose up the ranks to be appointed
principal of the Junior School in 1999. A pioneer of inclusive education
and continuous professional development, Wahi was the prime mover
behind TSRS' highly acclaimed Special Educational Needs programme.
After a 13-year distinguished innings in TSRS, Wahi joined forces with
chairperson Pooja Jhaver to relaunch NiBS in 2006. Since then, she has
spearheaded incorporation of globally benchmarked K-12 pedagogies
and child-friendly education systems into NiBS.
A continuous learner, Wahi has completed several professional devel-
opment programmes from Harvard University (Project Zero) and is a re-
cipient of the Exemplary Contribution to Education Award of the Early
Childhood Association (ECA), India and the Inspiring Best Teacher Award
of WEBCON, government of West Bengal.
