               DID YOU

               KNOW?

               Muesli was concocted
               by Swiss physician
               Dr Maximilian
               Bircher−Benner, who
               around 1900 wanted
               to improve the diet
               of his patients. The
               name comes from the
               German müs, meaning
               “porridge”. Hence
               bircher muesli, too.
