Salt and Pepper Kale Chips Vegan

Kale is a superfood that has made waves in recent nutrition news.
If you’ve got a craving for potato chips, you will find this crispy
snack very satisfying. Kale is one of the healthiest vegetables on
the planet and is known for helping prevent cancer and lowering
cholesterol. But with this delicious snack, you won’t realize you’re
eating something healthy.
Ingredient Tip: For the best result, buy bunches of fresh kale
instead of the pre-chopped variety. They tend to be fresher and will
produce a better result.
2 tablespoons avocado oil, plus ½ teaspoon salt
additional for greasing ½ teaspoon freshly ground
1 pound kale black pepper
1. Preheat the oven to 350°F.
2. Brush two rimmed baking sheets with oil.
3. Remove the center rib and stems from the kale; tear the leaves
into 2-inch pieces.
4. Place the kale in a large bowl; add 2 tablespoons of oil, salt, and
pepper. Toss well to coat.
5. Arrange the kale in a single layer on the baking sheets.
6. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes or until the edges are browned and the
kale is crisp.
7. Let cool. Serve or store in an airtight container.
