In true prohibition spirit, The Thirsty Barber is located behind the San Juan branch
of barbershop Felipe and Sons. Unlike The Demon Barber on Fleet Street, The
Thirsty Barber has no deadly surprises. However, you will be delighted to see their
interiors and taste their food. The space is a blend of steam punk and industrial, a
perfect mancave idealized by the five other gentlemen who own the shop. The bar
opens at 6PM, perfect if you need a drink after a tough day at work. Heading the
kitchen is first winner of MasterChef Pinoy Edition Chef JR Royol, who specializes in
Filipino food. Both the menu and the bar selection is priced affordably. They want to
offer that premium bar look while keeping the prices on a prohibition.

Everything’s better with coffee, this is a known fact.
So the team behind this new concept put together
your typical salon and made more special with its
personal coffee shop. La Provence is a café, hair and
nail salon so you can have all the things a girl needs:
coffee and pampering.
The salon is the Wella’s flagship store, so aside
from a trim, they specialise in coloring and caring for
your tresses. Meanwhile, the café serves up yummy
goodies from pastas to sandwiches. Located dead
smack in the middle of High Street, it’s a nice place to
retreat in with your favorite girls.
The interiors is very French country-inspired.
It’s ready to be the background of your next IG
photo, perfect with matching blow-dried hair and
manicured nails!
