One of Mike’s trainees spotted this ‘star’ on a glass slide after treating the young lady on the left (above). It clearly shows how the ink particles leave the skin and interact with the glass surface.
Figure 61: The pain sensation experienced by patients was significantly reduced when the glass slide technique was used.
