Our Way Forward

This Strategic Plan sets direction and priorities for our organization. It defines what success in our community will look like in the
future and ensures we focus our time and resources on projects that will help us be successful. The Strategic Plan also ensures that
Council and Staff are all on the same page working towards the same objectives. Further, it allows us to be more transparent with
you, a community stakeholder, about where we are going and the path we use to get there.

Throughout the development of this Strategic Plan many ideas were shown on how life in the Municipality of the County of Kings
could be even better. The major strategic projects chosen are those that will have the greatest positive impact for our Municipali-
ty. Our Strategic Plan will grow as time goes on and resources become available. New projects may be added and our way forward
may need to be altered based on our work to date.

Key Strategic Priorities (KSPs) are specific areas ranked by Council relative to their importance in achieving the Municipality’s vision
and mission statements. Resources and operational efforts are to be focused on KSPs . Our KSPs are:
