radically different from that of their native island. Although now living on a
very limited budget, they learned to make do with what little they had, yet
continued to learn, explore and grow. Even while learning to be farm kids and
red-blooded American teenagers, the three returned often to Puerto Rico to
visit their mother and the rest of their family on the island where they
continued to enjoy new and varied experiences. This is the story of these
three children, Poly kids, and their experiences growing up in two very
different cultures.
