Introduction to important and key staff

We want new employees to feel right at home from Day 1 so it is important

for you to meet all your work colleagues – all of whom have been through

what you are going through today!

On Day 1 you will meet:

 The Campus Manager

 Customer Service Operators

 Your Head Teacher

 Fellow section staff

 Your ‘buddy’

 Careers and Counselling staff

Tour of the building

Once you have met all key staff you will be taken on a guided tour of the

building and shown the key facilities such as your classroom/s, the staff

office, the library, café, staff room, amenities etc. You will be provided with a

map of the campus to help you find your bearings once you commence

work. (See Attachment ‘A’)

Workplace Health and Safety (WHS)

A critical and vital part of your induction will be in regard to all workplace

health and safety matters. We have a legal obligation to provide you with
any and all health and safety information you need in order to carry out your

job safely.
