Key Information Systems
One TAFE utilises an intranet system making your job easier to
communicate with other staff members on other campuses easily and
efficiently. We utilise a student management system, for which mandatory
training is required and provided on Campus. Opportunities for this training
will occur from your second week of employment.
Terms and Conditions of Employment
We are legally required to provide you with a written statement of the terms
and conditions of employment which will outline such things as:
Award cover and probationary period
Rates of pay and Hours of work – including breaks
Sickness and holiday procedures
Preparing your EC (Employment Claim) via the Staff Portal
Disciplinary and grievance procedures
We will take you through each of these aspects of your employment during
the first two days of your employment to ensure you fully understand your
rights and responsibilities.
If you have ANY questions at all about any of the above topics please
do not hesitate to contact your Head Teacher immediately.
Introduction to the job
Once the major elements of your induction have been carried out you will
meet with your Head Teacher to be taken through your job description and
exactly what your job entails and just how you fit into the team.
You will be introduced to your immediate Section Team Members during a
morning tea to be held on your second day. You will also receive a copy of
Nowra Campus organisational procedures which are in-line with One TAFE.
