         World Diabetes Day – 15.11.2019

With growing rate of Diabetes across the world, students
from Class VII A spread the awareness of the disease with their
special assembly. With this year’s theme being “Family And Diabetes”
the students’ main aim was in raising awareness of the impact that
diabetes has on the family and support network of those affected, and
promoting the role of the family in the management, care, prevention
and education of diabetes. The reasons for becoming a diabetic; How
the changing lifestyle is the ground for the increasing rate; The risk
factors involved; What can be done to reduce the risk factors – were
the topics that were handled. The assembly has motivated the children
         to embrace a healthy living.

         Waste Water Management – 18.11.2019
While the focus remains on creating or renovating structures
for rainwater and wastewater harvesting, one needs to put in place
policy measures for regulated water use and saving measures, such as
water metering and pricing. Students from Class VII B came up with a
splendid assembly which conveyed the message that apart from water
conservation we should even manage our waste water in a profitable
way. With increased water consumption by the growing population,
waste water produced is also high. With diminishing wastewater
recycling and reuse by the municipal sector - the students came up
by various methods we could integrate into our homes and school
for using grey water. The audience went back enlightened and also
showed great enthusiasm in putting these ideas into action.

Indira Gandhi. During the special assembly by class III C, students talked about Ms Indira Gandhi as a person and
enlightened all regarding her achievements. India being a nation of diverse culture the students promoted the
feeling of common identity amongst the people of country even after being from different races, cultures, religions
or regions in order to build a strong and developed nation.
