People born in different ages are different from each
other in various aspects. The world is changing at a
rapid pace and thus the difference between people
born in different times is inevitable.
A generation gap is a difference of opinion between
one generation and another regarding beliefs, politics
or values. In today’s usage ‘generation gap’ often refers
to a perceived gap between younger people and their
parents or grandparents.
What do you think causes the generation gap? We
need to avoid the lack of communication between one
generation and the other, since it is the root cause of the
‘generation gap’. It is imperative that we acknowledge
and accept the basic idea of inevitable differences in
opinions, values, tastes, outlook and preferences which
will find its way.
Perhaps, instead of finding flaws in the other
generations, we must observe and accept how every
generation is different from the other and yet is quite
similar.

Reducing Carbon Footprints:
Just look at our earth, smoke, cars, industries, all this is
because of us. The air we breathe, may poison us. We
don’t know. Our environment is changing from green
trees to black smoke and loud horns. All the birds that
used to tweet sweetly, are now flying away to a better
place.
This is caused due to the excessive use of modern
technology that pollutes air. One of the major
pollutants is carbon dioxide. The amount released
into the atmosphere as a result of the activities of a
particular individual, organization, or community. The

energy demand rises around the globe, and so does the
concern about climate change. Ninety-seven percent or
more of scientists active in the field are convinced that the
climate has been warming over the past century. Human
activities such as burning of coal, oil and other fossil fuels
are a primary cause.
The best option to mitigate the potentially catastrophic
consequences of climate change is to reduce the use of
fossil fuels and speed up the transition to renewable forms
of energy, such as solar, wind and hydro power. One of
the major sectors in carbon emission is vehicles. There’s
no doubt that they are very important to our society.
These vehicles represent nearly a quarter of all the carbon
emission produced by fuel combustion.
The experts in the energy and environmental fields, are
concerned about the need for an urgent transition. We
on the other hand, as a part of the same society, should
also help to overcome this problem. As humans, we can
change the world with a small step. Every individual, every
small step, could bring a large change.

Everything we do has an impact – Positive or negative –
on the environment. That’s the same with the concept
behind our carbon footprint, which is one method of
measuring the environmental effects of our lifestyle. A
carbon footprint, measuring in tons, indicates the amount
of carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases that are
produced as a result of our daily activities. We can reduce
our footprint by changing the way we live our life. Even
seemingly tiny changes can make a significant difference.
We can use one of many online calculators to find out what
our approximate carbon footprint is. Our food choices are
also a contributing factor. We should determine how our
food is raised and processed and how far it travels to reach
our table. The environmentalist adage “Reduce, Reuse,
Recycle” is designed to reduce greenhouse emissions and
other environmental blights. The easiest way to reduce
your carbon footprint is to cut back on your power needs
at home. Replace the incandescent lights in your house
with Compact Fluorescent Lamps. If we are really aware
