B) Scope of Works

Soft and hard landscaping works consisting of the following: -
i) Ground preparation to all landscape areas within the main stadium.
ii) Planting of grass
iii) Planting of ground covers, shrubs and trees.
iv) Installation of Wildebeest metal sculptures.
v) Installation of Rock gardens.
vi) Maintenance of the landscape installation works for six months after completion.

General status is 100% complete as broken down below.

i) Ground preparation to all landscape areas within the main stadium 100% Complete.
ii) Planting of grass 100% Complete
iii) Planting of ground covers, shrubs and trees 100% Complete.
iv) Installation of Wildebeest metal sculptures 100% Complete.
v) Installation of Rock gardens 100% Complete

10. CHALLENGES

i) Works were executed under immense pressure due to urgency and very short contract periods
ii) Working on a site where other operations were ongoing resulted in challenges in dealing with

security, logistics and coordination.
iii) e weather was not favorable for the fast growing of planted grass. Importation of water was of
essence to curb the situation.
iv) All projects are now under defects liability period and any arising defects will be attended to in
EDITORIAL BOARD
accordance with the contract.
