is born through purity of nature and integration of personality, the in nite beauty that is hidden within one’s soul will gradually bloom within one’s heart. The story of Christ will unfold within oneself. It will lead to the cruci xion, wherein the ego is transcended and reason is transformed into intuition. The movement towards the Kingdom of Heaven, the realization of the Cosmic Self, is the message of Christ’s birth. And it is through prayer, meditation, and sel ess activities that one worships Christ, invokes him within one’s own being, and nally takes up the Cross to transcend the ego and enter into the Kingdom of Heaven, realizing one’s union with the Supreme Self.
This is the way to Christ Consciousness, which is the same as Krishna Consciousness, Rama Consciousness, Cosmic Consciousness, and the Nirvana of the Buddha. It is the glorious goal of human existence.
The Cruci xion
Through His cruci xion, Lord Jesus teaches us about transformation in human personality. As we have seen, the Cross symbolizes the blending of two values—one human, dictated by ego, and the other Cosmic, based upon the vision that all is One.
