Motorcycles
Motorcycles play an integral part in modern
warfare. Their size and speed make them ideal
for relaying critical messages, delivering vital
supplies to the front lines, or scouting ahead of
advancing forces. The motorcycle was
irreplaceable on the battlefield.
This temporary display covers 70 years (1916 to
1986) of military motorcycle history.
Exhibit highlights include:
