        The First Helicopter to fly in Canada happened on a farm near Homewood, Mb in the 1930 s, as recognized by
        all Government agencies in Canada.

        Three Brothers, Nicholas, Douglas and Theodore Froebe designed, built and successfully flew their helicopter
        on their farm in Homewood Mb. However, there is not one shred of evidence that this historical event
        happened in Homewood. So, a couple Froebe Family descendants, (Charlie & Len Froebe) and Gerry Suski,
        have taken it upon themselves, to form a committee, under the auspices of the CANADIAN AVIATION
        HISTORICAL SOCIETY to install a 48" Granite monument/cairn in Homewood Mb. to recognize the ingenuity
        and perseverance of these three Brothers. The cairn will read; "IN THE 1930 S NEAR THIS SITE, NICHOLAS,
        DOUGLAS AND THEODORE FROEBE, DESIGNED BUILT AND FLEW CANADA S FIRST HELICOPTER".

        This is a huge event in the Canadian Historical Aviation world. The Cairn has been ordered and a site has been
        assigned by the Rural Municipality of Dufferin to be set up in the spring. This project will cost approx
        $9000.00. We have a couple thousand dollars already but we need your support.

        If you can see fit to donating to this important Canadian historical event, please forward your cheque or
        money order to;
        THE RURAL MUNICIPALITY OF DUFFERIN, PO BOX 2023, CARMAN, MB. R0G 0J0.

        A tax deductible receipt will be issued.
