Finally you must choose which way your kit will be lit. Some
situations require the use of individual LEDs or the use of
fiber optics linked to each window and powered by a central
light source. While the process of lighting your model kits
can be time consuming, and the level of detail required
makes it a choice only the most seasoned modelers make,
nobody will ever deny that, done properly, the end results
     are anything short of brilliant.
Quick Guide to Airbrushing - What’s the skinny on the spray
At Hobby and Toy Central we carry two brands of
Airbrushes, Aztec by Testors, and Badger. These two brands
take different approaches to airbrush design. Aztec brushes
use interchangeable heads to control paint flow and create
unique effects resulting in an airbrush that is wider and
shorter. Badger brushes uses different types of needles to
achieve similar results and their brushes tend to be long and
skinny. We always suggest visiting the store to see which
one “feels” better in your hands.
Both brands of airbrushes come in both single action and
dual action. With a dual action brush you control both
airflow and paint flow, while with a single action the paint
flow is fixed. Dual action brushes allow for detailed Ready for Golf?
