 The next Federal Government must increase resources to improve
digital connectivity in regional and rural Australia. This includes the
erection of more towers and substantial investment in upgrading
existing infrastructure to better enable regional and rural small
businesses to grow.

 Given Australia’s ongoing reliance on road transport, future
Governments must continue to invest in road infrastructure and
ensure ongoing balance in investing the needs of public transport
investment with Australian’s reliance on road transport. As part of
an automotive sector blueprint, investigate and plan for greater use
of car originating telematics and data between vehicles and vehicles
and road infrastructure.

 Any future government plans for accelerating the national up take
of current and emerging technologies, propulsion systems should
be carefully planned to ensure all impacts and consequences are
understood, risks mitigated and are part of a sector wide blueprint.
