3. About the Motor Trades Association of
            Australia

                                                  “Simply, without an
                                                   automotive sector,
                                                    Australia stops.”

          ▪ MTAA Members have thousands of automotive businesses
constituents across the nation, all operating to keep Australia moving
              and connected.

          ▪ MTAA and members are the national voice of the 69,365 retail
motor trades businesses which employ over 379,000 Australians
accounting for 2.2% of Australia’s GDP ($37.1 billion), making the
Automotive sector one of the most substantial and important
industries to the Australian economy. Put simply without an
              automotive sector, Australia stops.

          ▪ The majority of automotive businesses are small and family owned
enterprises that require sound policies and meaningful reform to
allow them to grow and employ more people. Rising energy costs,
skills shortages, onerous red-tape, over-taxation and outdated
workplace regulations are just some examples of issues working
against the competitiveness and productivity of automotive
              businesses.

          ▪ MTAA Limited is the national association of participating State and
Territory Motor Trades Associations and Automobile Chambers of
Commerce Members, and discrete national industry associations
that exist under the MTAA umbrella; providing unparalleled
coverage and access to the nation’s automotive and related
              businesses.
