                Bethany:      I guess the plan to work at home didn't work out, huh?


               Jo:            I started  my essay for English  Lit.  My brain  hurts now.


                Bethany:      How can you just start things and  leave them like that?  I  hate leaving things

                              unfinished.


               Jo:            I'm not you.  Don't have your focus.  And thank God for that.


                Bethany:      We've just got different things to think about.  You just concentrate on not
                              getting chucked out;  I'll worry about not getting locked  up.



                              J o closes her m ag and sits u p.  T he mag  falls to th e flo o r.


               Jo:            What the fuck? !


                              B ethan y is furio u sly clicking a w a y, tryin g to chan ge the scr een.  S he ends up
                              turn in g th e m o nitor o ff.


                Bethany:      It's nothing important.  Really.  It's just a silly little thing.


               Jo:            You can't just tell me you're a juvenile delinquent and  leave me hanging.
                              We're best mates.  You have to tell  me -  it's the rules.

               Jo:            Woah !  Where did you get this?

                Bethany:      Look at all the stars,  Richie.  Makes you feel small,  really.



                Richie:       You didn't ask me to meet you to discuss the night sky; and  it's too cold to sit
                              spouting philosophy crap at me.  So what've you screwed  up this time?
