Power Technology Contributes to Clean Energy

Atlas Copco is proud to be associated with one of the single largest solar power
projects in the world, Greenko.

Greenko is a leading clean energy company and a market leader in India, with
interests in producing power from renewable resources such as solar, wind and
hydro.

1) Greenko have a total installed capacity to produce 3.2GWp and have many
ongoing projects on hand.
2) Greenko have built one of the largest single solar power projects in the
world, near Kurnool in Andhra Pradesh. This is claimed to be the largest in
terms of the number of solar units generated.
3) The solar capacity of 500 MW AC will generate over 1194 million units of
clean energy annually and help reduce around 9,55,000 tons of CO2 from
the environment.

Atlas Copco helped complete this project by Greenko in time with 5 large compressors
(XRH 1100) supplied through an OEM.
