• What inspired you to create Sun Valley?
The main idea comes from a small village named Karmi in west mountainside of Kyrenia. This village has their own style with a local pub and shop and the design of the old houses are very charming and unique. All together they live in the nature, high up in the mountain, all with sea view and with a great energy which gave me lots of energy and I wanted to create my own place like this.
But it was not just the incredible design and the closeness to nature that inspired me, I also saw the people’s happiness here. So, I said to myself, instead of building single buildings and just selling to people, we have to make people happy with the projects that we are building and build that happy community that everyone wants to be a part of. So this is my biggest dream for Sun Valley, that it will be a place where people can live happy and content.
• In property everyone talks about location, how important are locations according to you?
I agree with that statement, locations are one of the most important wishes of a buyer. As we are in the Mediterranean, sea and mountain views are extra important as well as sunsets. In Sun Valley we have made sure that all our villages have sunset views, which is also one of the main reasons to why we chose to call it Sun Valley.
We do our best to make sure all units in Sun Valley have good views and get at least mountain or sea view alongside the sunset view. Without promising anything, we also do our very best to build the units in a way so that their views will not be blocked by other properties in the future. I wish for all residents to have that dream place of theirs for many years to come.
• Sun Valley has the unique advantage of having a private marina, how did you manage to achieve that? It has not been the easiest process. We spent years in discussions with the local municipality to convince them that a boutique marina would benefit the local area, raise prices for all and provide another facility for everyone to enjoy. After many meetings and discussions, we eventually agreed and signed contracts and we are now close to completing all the engineering and design drawings and
next year we will start the building works.
This is also a very special thing for us as a company, and I am personally very proud of our team that was a part of making this happen, as no one else has these permissions and agreements with the municipality in our area. I hope it will add a lot of value to both the whole community and the area as a whole, as well as Sun Valley of course.
