Strategies for the Innocent
• Don’t overload with too much information, they’re easily overwhelmed.
• Use visuals to assist with their learning curve.
• Reassure them, encourage them, acknowledge their good choices and behaviours.
• This will help to raise their self-esteem.
• Be gentle and compassionate with them.
• Safety and security is most important and primary motivation – they are risk averse.
