clothing, in my opinion cannot, and will not be
bought online? because 90% of the charm of
buying a piece of luxury clothing, is the
experience. So once again, e-commerce points
towards the target of increasing purchases in
the accessories segment, and the more
affordable accessories at that. Besides, in my
opinion, the e-commerce market in the
high-end accessories market, isn?t driven by
convenience to be honest, it is driven by a
?better deal?! So what are we really looking at
here?!

M inister of Human Resources
Prakash Javadekar, the incumbent Union Minister of
Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD),
Government of India, while addressing students at the
Asola Bhatti Wildlife sanctuary in New Delhi on the
occasion of the International Day of Forests said that
every person must plant at least 10 to 15 trees during
one?s lifetime and care for the trees, so that they can
create an ?oxygen bank?. ?One change that has been
brought about in the plantation of trees in nurseries is
that plants that attain a height of up to six feet are
planted to ensure a high survival rate. The students are
the agents of change, as it is the students who can
nurture and enhance the sensitivity towards the
environment,? he added. Seeking peoples' cooperation to
improve the quality of forests and to enhance their
scientific management the minister explained that just
as money is deposited in banks, each person must plant
one tree after every five years to create the fixed deposit
It?s an old grand-mother?s saying?. ?Who you
are, is defined by the company you keep!?
While in the company of the likes of Versace
and Jimmy Choo, Michael Kors wants to be
seen as the new-age ?luxury? conglomerate? I
wonder how Michael Kors? company, is going
to affect the other two!

March, Delhi Environment Minister Imran Hussain said
that his government will leave no effort to make Delhi
greener. Shri Javadekar and Shri Hussain also planted
trees on the occasion and gave away prizes to the
children. Shri Javadekar also released a Heritage Map on
the same day. The Ministry of Environment, Forest and
Climate Change, in collaboration with Department of
Forest and Wildlife of Government of National Capital
Territory of Delhi, celebrated the International Day of
Forest today at Asola Bhatti Wildlife sanctuary. Shri A.K
Shukla, Chief Conservator of Forests, Delhi government,
gave the vote of thanks. This year?s theme of
International Day of Forest is ?Forest and Water? with an
aim to raise awareness about how forests are the key to
the planet?s supply of fresh water.
