Celebrate Me!

Celebrate Me!

At the beginning of each new academic year in
Kindergarten, we focus on the theme "All About Me
and My School." This topic helps children develop a
sense of identity and belonging, which is key to
their learning journey. To kick off this year, we
introduced our rst event, "Celebrate Me," an
exciting day dedicated to celebrating each child's
uniqueness.

Through "Celebrate Me," we teach our children an
important lesson: each person is special in their own
way, aligning with our rst Value for the month: “I
am kind to myself, other people, and things at
school.” This celebration fosters self-esteem,
con dence, and respect for one another from an
early age, laying the foundation for a positive
self-image and empathy toward others.

During this event, teachers collaborated to create
an enriching experience for the children. A variety of
activities were planned, providing opportunities for
children to learn about themselves and their friends.
From creative art projects and sensory play to
interactive storytelling and movement games, each
activity encouraged children to express themselves,
explore their interests, and discover their
uniqueness.

It was a joyful and memorable day for all, lled with
smiles, laughter, and valuable lessons that will
continue to resonate throughout the year.
