HUGO SOJUS
Once there was a man. Once travelling he found a very small town. He bought some land and
settled there.
After a few years he established a town on his purchased land and named it Silutė. He lived in
welth, but one day he met an old man. The man asked if he can stay over night, but Hugo became
angry and pushed him away. The old man said he will turn into a statue, but the owner didn’t
believe in it.
One day Hugo spruced and decided to read an important document. When Hugo sat down on
the stone, he turned into a statue. To honour his memory people put the statue near the Sojus manor
that was constructed a bit later. The old mans’curse came true.
And since then we have the Hugo Sojaus statue.
