 Clients with FDC are referred to as members. FDC makes everyone feel like a part of the organization - more like family - which allows for some autonomy for the member and a sense of being in charge of his company’s food donation strategies. Chef Z helps to develop that relationship. Members can relate to his dilemmas and duties in the kitchen. Chef Z knows how busy
it can be in a commercial kitchen. He helps to show how FDC can manage surplus food distribution with ease and efficiency. He makes it work for the member and the community.
