CASA has about 30 committees . I am going to mention only some today .

Residents and Fellows Committee:
This a very active committee . Under the leadership of 郑建彬 , 梁小民，黄佳鹏 , the Com-

mittee hosted an online seminar about U .S . residency match experience . They have also orga-
nized two online sessions of oral board prep and shared post-test experience . The Committee
will continue to hold educational seminars and work on the mentorship project to help Chinese
Medical Schools Graduates in US anesthesia residency .

Outreach Committee:

This is a newly formed committee . The committee leaders are: 曹锡清 , 张均奎 , 李成付 ,
刘宇燕 .
1, A team of anesthesiologists went to Cambodia, another team went to Haiti right after the
hurricane .
Their global outreach efforts have touched so many people's hearts, and are very inspiration-
al to all the CASA members .
2, CASA members have also participated in ASA Global Outreach Teaching programs, and
taught residents in Guyana .
The contribution and dedication of CASA members represent the core value of ASA .

POCUS committee:

This is also a newly formed committee. We have successfully organized the first CASA
-CSA Forum . The Forum has attracted about 40 attendees . Open discussions were participated
from society leaders and experts of USA and China . The open discussion expert participants
included 彭勇刚 , 高卫东 , Yuriy Bronshteyn (ASA POCUS Committee Chair), David Hardman
(POCUS expert), Stephen Haskins (POCUS expert), Liu Jin (representing CSA), Stan Shernan
(representing SCA) .

Profs Liu Jin, 黄佳鹏 , 黄建宏 and I will donate our
lecture honoraria to establish a CASA Presidential Award .
$1,000 per year for current US anesthesia resident from Chi-
na . One of the selection criteria is “dedication and contribu-
tion to CASA .”

Anesthesiology
Under the leadership of Editor-in-Chief, 张均奎 , with
the efforts of executive editors 黄黎光，刘宇燕，张晓燕，
张珊 , the bulletin has published 4 bimonthly issues and at-
tracted readers from worldwide anesthesiologists .
