Media Technology
These courses include the basic production techniques needed for
creating a television program. Through practical studio experience,
students will first execute program ideas to produce digital
recordings. Students will become familiar with TV, video, audio,
lighting, and computer equipment. These courses are also designed
to give students the opportunity for hands-on experience in front of
the television camera. In the advanced courses, students will work as
teams to cooperatively write, produce, and present a news magazine
for the student body.

(Prerequisite: Grade of 70 or higher in each course or instructor
