OVERVIEW

The IES Abroad Santiago Internship programs provides
students with intermediate or higher Spanish skills the
opportunity to hone their language skills while working in
their major field in one of South America’s most modern
and most livable cities.

DETAILS A

Requirements: This program requires a 2.50 GPA and
junior status. Some internship opportunities may be
limited for students with a GPA below 3.00 due to
industry limitations. There is no language requirement,
but this program is recommended for students with 2
years of college Spanish or equivalent. This program
has a cap of 6 students.

Fields of Study: All majors are eligible. Recommended
for Accounting, Business, Economics, MJMC, Political
Science, Sociology, and most Arts or Humanities fields. v

Augustana Fees: Augustana tuition,
room & board applies.

Other Expenses: Airfare, local transportation,
visa fees & discretionary spending.
Estimated out-of-pocket costs are $2,000
