My challenge to you, as a member, or non-member, is for you to think of at least one person
who deserves an Award. It takes less than a minute to make a difference to someone who

deserves it. The Awards are for:

            Saffa Day
I shared Saffa day with 500 odd South Africans on the Isle of Man. The weather was

gorgeous on Saturday, and it was wonderful to see children out playing and learning cricket
with Peter Kirsten. The biltong was excellent, as were the rusks and the boerewors rolls.

I was honoured to give one of the welcome speeches, to so many friends alongside the
Mayor of Douglas, Natalie Byron-Teare and the Deputy First Minister, Jane Poole-Wilson.
