Message from the CEO

I have worked in a Pan-African business

environment for most of my career, so it
is wonderful to now be focused on trade
and business with my home country of SA.

The welcome I received from the Board,
directors and team members has been
heartwarming.

I am joining the Chamber at an important
time in its growth, ahead of the 2024 SA Johannesburg
elections, the celebration of 30 years of the
end of apartheid and the need and desire

for deeper trade agreements between the
UK and SA.

South Africa is brimming with dynamic

entrepreneurial talent and a resilient
society. It remains a fantastic investment
opportunity.

I look forward to working with the team
to grow the young professionals’ network

within the Chapter, to showcase and Cape Town
support the incredible talent we have in
South Africa. I want to ensure that the
Chamber remains an essential part of any
South African business, trading with the

UK. It should be the natural conduit and
facilitator for all business growth between
the two countries.

The SA Chamber of Commerce has multiple regional chapters
