At lunchtime leave the anchorage at Plage Santa Giulia and make way
to vibrant Porto Vecchio (1.25 hours underway).
Known as the St Tropez of Corsica, Porto Vecchio is a mixture of
old and new: the haute-ville is a well-preserved example of Genoese
medieval architecture. Bustling narrow streets around the main
square are fascinating and the bastion has a fabulous view over the
port below. The main square is flanked by cafes and restaurants and is
a great place to watch the traditional evening promenade. Beach
lovers will enjoy Palombaggia, the pale stretch of sand lined with
fragrant pines.
Your Captain will reserve a berth at Porto Vecchio marina for the
night or the yacht can remain at anchor.
