2. OPERATOR, OPERATIONS TEAM AND FACILITY MANAGER

• The operator, operations team or facility manager, as appropriate, should be given

authority by the owner to contribute information and data concerning the

operational strategy and operational requirements. This could cover performance

outcomes and targets, operational costs and budgets and, where appropriate, the

procurement of facility-related services.

• The owner might agree that such contributions are channeled through the owner’s

representative or they might be communicated directly to the design and

construction team.

• In the latter case, the design and construction team should ensure that

contributions are duly recorded and made available within the team.
