Customer – Who is a customer?
A customer is anyone who:
- buys goods, e.gs, clothes, groceries
- uses services, e.gs., having a haircut, consulting a doctor
- buys goods or/and services
A customer is also known as a client / guest / passenger
Service
When someone performs a service, the work done is paid for. Service is:
- to do work for others for a fee / charge / payment
Customer Service – What is Customer Service?
Customer Service is:
- meeting the needs and wants of the customer
Examples of Service Providers – Can you provide some examples?
1. Waiter
- serves food and drinks to guests
2. Room Attendant
- cleans guestrooms for guests
3. Chef
- prepares food and drinks for guests
