Canoes we sold. He was a member of
the “Silver Paddle” club for top sales.
The canoes used to be delivered by
boxcar. The train would stop at the top
of the hill. We would drive the forklift
to the top of the hill, unload the stacks of
canoes from the box car, and bring back
to the boat yard.

Note: The train tracks have since been
replaced by a trail.

We stopped selling canoes in 1985
