EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

We are your Marina of the Year and will make an excellent representative of this
award based on the following:

1- Jerry and Joyce Rockvam are the founders of our marina, started in
1961. Their longevity, dedication, skill, innovation, and persistence have
transformed our marina to a national leader over the past 57 seasons (AND
they're still married to each other... 59 years strong.)

2- We are a Year Round Business with a true "summer-only" boating season
for the 15 weeks summer. We can be iced over 6 months from Halloween
to the first week in May. And still our In/Out Service will have over 50
launches and 50 haul-outs A DAY. That's over 100 forklifts runs in one day.

3- Affordable access to boating - $99 special on pontoon boats and $39.00
daily rate for fishing boats.

4- "First Job" employment of a crew of 25+ High School and College
Students each summer. Our retention is an average of 3.5 to 4 seasons.

5- We welcome over 8,000 tourists a summer with just our pontoon boat
rentals, often their first exposure to boating!

6- Cutting Edge Boating Service Innovation -Dry Stack and Boat Club -
Jerry introduced the Dry Stack concept to the Upper Midwest and was
inducted into the NCMA Hall of Fame for it. We also have a Boat Club
which won a Best Profit Center idea for the Marketing associated with it.

7- Founders of Minnesota Clean Marina Program

8- Industry Thought Leadership - leadership posts in National Marine
Organizations and presentations at national level
