Body of Water and Location:
Lake Minnetonka is an awesome lake! It's
28 inter-connected bays comprise 110 miles
of shoreline within a rectangle of 15 miles
long and 10 miles wide. It is waters are not
designated navigable therefore our laws are
enforced by the Hennepin County Sheriff's
Water Patrol, not the US Coast Guard. The
waters do however, flow out a dam to the Minnehaha Creek, which flows to the Mississppi
River. There are 14 cities around the lake. As such, each city regardless of size, has just one
representative on the board of the LMCD (Lake Minnetonka Conservation District. This allows
consistency of rules and regulations. "The Lake" is a short 20 minute drive west from
downtown Minneapolis, Minnesota making it a popular playground of top executives with
elaborate estates.

Create the Best Lake Minnetonka Experience possible. Whether it's a fishing boat renter for the
day, a 20 year In/Out Customer, a neighbor stopping to watch the sunset, or a boater that's not
even a current customer but is swimming in the waters of Lake Minnetonka. The lake is our
lively hood, it's reputation and water quality impact our business. Therefore, we will create the
“Best Lake Minnetonka Experience” possible.
