Saturday 11/2/91 Halloween Blizzard of 1991
30” of snow fell in 3 days. We had 40 boats in the
water. The weight of the snow and waves nearly sunk
the floating dock. The water went from 46 degrees to
6” of ice on Monday morning, unheard of prior to the
Halloween Blizzard. One boat sunk due to rocking and
water freezing on the side, overpowering with weight
until it rolled.
