53. BAISOGALA MANOR
Baisogala manor is one of the most famo-
us architectural monuments in Lithuania.
From 1830, this manor belonged to the fa-
mily of landowners Komarai. To this day,
a central manor house, stables, a wheel
building workshop, kitchen, warehouse,
and a mill have survived. There is an im-
pressive park with quite a number of exo-
tic tree species. In 1952, the Institute of
Animal Husbandry of Lithuania was es-
tablished and still operates in the manor.

54. ŠEDUVA MUSEUM OF HISTORICAL MACHINERY

This is a museum of the Lithuanian Histo-
rical Vehicle Preservation Association
“Retromobile”. It is a mobile exposition of
historical vehicles that can leave a place
at any time. Its uniqueness is not in the
frozen exhibits, but in its life.

55. ŠIAULĖ OBSERVATION TOWER

In the western part of the district, known
as Šiaulė land, between Šiaulėnai and
Šaukotas hills, there stands 21 meters high
Observation Tower from the top of which
a wonderful landscape can be admired.
The tower is neighboured by a pedestrian
walkway leading to the legendary Kudinai
mount or Šiaulė mount.
