Central Citizens Media and Information Literacy and
Digital Literacy Status
Regarding the MIL and DL status classified by 2,659 Central citizens, the 3
key competencies have an average score that including 74.5 points in “Access”,
66.8 points in “Evaluate” and 66.5 points in “Create”. An average score of three
elements are 67.0 points or ranked into intermediate class that can explained,
Thais can appropriately use and consume the information from media in daily
life. And result of the Digital Literacy survey that shown, citizens of Thailand have
average score 66.5 points or rank into Intermediate class and can explained that
citizens of Thailand have knowledge about using digital device and gentle
behavior. According to survey status, the public sector must collaborate with
private sector and citizens to improving digital competence for creating innovation
and transforming to digital citizenships.
