DI - 250 Diagnosis - Diagnosis-fault diagnosis of electronic and electrical parts

Failure phenomenon Phenomenon description
Fog lamps on both sides are The ignition switchis in the "ON" gear, "front fog lamp switch" is off, and the front fog
normally on lamps on both sides are normally on.

Diagnosis procedure
1. Check the front fog lamp relay

a. Ignition switch:LOCK.
b. Disconnect the front fog lamp relay R09 check the continuity with a multimeter.

c. Measure the conduction between No. 30 and 87a
terminals of relay R09 of front fog lamp with a multimeter
Standard resistance:

Storage battery voltage Standard value

Do not apply voltage on relay 85
About 0Ω
and Terminal 86

d. Measure the conduction between No.30 and 87 terminals
of front fog lamp relay R09 with a multimeter
Standard resistance:

Storage battery voltage Standard value

Battery positive pole connecting to
Terminal 85 and negative pole About 0Ω
connecting to Terminal 86

Check if the result is ok?
Yes>go to Step 2.
NO>repair or replace the front fog lamp relay

2. Check the front fog lamp switch
a. Ignition switch:LOCK.

b. Disconnect the connector B034 of front fog lamp switch
