e. Measure the voltage between the B014 terminal 10 and IN
the ground with the multimeter in voltage gear.
Standard voltage: DI

Multimeter connecting terminal Standard value

Check if the result is ok? AX
Yes>go to Step 3.
No > repair or replace the open-circuit wire harness of combination instrument power supply.

3. Check the earth circuit of combination instrument.

a. Ignition switch: LOCK.
ST
b. Disconnect the connector B014 of combination instrument.

c. Take a multimeter to measure resistance between No. 32
terminal of B014 and grounding. BR
Standard resistance:

Multimeter connecting terminal Standard value BW
B004(32)-grounding About 0Ω

Check if the result is ok?
Yes>go to Step 4.
NO>repair or replace the harness.

4. Check the combination switch
Caution

If the combination instrument is broken, normally non-professional personnel cannot check and repair
precisely. At present often using the substitution judgment method for service.

a. Replace with a new or normal combination instrument.
b. Connect the circuit, restart the ignition switch and check if the failure is fixed.
Caution
The combination instrument for replacement must be the same specification as previously used.
Is the test result ok?
Yes>repair or replace the combination instrument.
Caution

Internal combination instrument service needs professional personnel. Others shall not dismount
anything.

NO>retest the above steps.
