DI - 402 Diagnosis - Diagnosis-fault diagnosis of electronic and electrical parts

Diagnosis procedure
1. Connect a diagnostic apparatus

a. Connect a diagnostic apparatus, check whether the diagnostic apparatus can start normally.
Check if the result is ok?
Yes>intermittent failure.
NO>go to Step 2.

2. Check the fuse

a. Ignition switch: LOCK.
b. Open the body harness fuse box cover.
c. Remove diagnosis interface fuse F21(10A).
Caution

Dismount the fuse with a special fuse remover. Do not pull it out directly with hands, which may
damage the fuse.

d. Check the middle fuse of diagnosis interface fuse F12
(10A) is broken.
Disconnect Normal

Check if the result is ok?
Yes>go to Step 3.

No > replace with same size of fuse.
3. Check the power circuit of diagnosis interface

a. Check the voltage between the No.16 terminal of the
diagnostic interface connector B018 and the ground.
Standard voltage:

Multimeter connecting terminal Standard value

B0018(16)-grounding Battery power supply

Check if the result is ok?
Yes>go to Step 4.

No > check whether the connector is disconnected or damaged, or replace the defective connector
or wire harness.
