4. Check the earth circuit of diagnosis interface IN

a. Use a multimeter to respectively measure the resistance
between 4# and 5# terminals of diagnosis interface B018 DI
and the earthing.
Standard resistance: EG

Check if the result is ok?
Yes>go to Step 5.
FR
No > check whether the earthing point is firm or replace the defective connector or wire harness.
5. Measure CAN bus communication circuit ST

a. Measure the resistance between 6# and 14# terminals of
diagnosis interface B18. BR
Standard resistance:

Multimeter connecting terminal Standard value BW

B018(6)-B018(14) About 60Ω

Check if the result is ok?

Yes>go to Step 6.

No > check whether the terminal resistor which is connected with each CAN bus end is damaged

and whether CAN bus has open circuit.

6. Check the control module

a. Connect a diagnostic apparatus, check whether the communication is established with other control

modules.
Check if the result is ok?
Yes > control module fault, replace the control module.
No>check the reason from other failures.
