TR-2 Transmission and Control Mechanism - Clutch
Precautions
1. The discharged clutch oil cannot be used any more.
2. Special clutch oil must be used. Using other clutch oils may cause corrosion and shorten the life of the
clutch system.
3. Do not spill the clutch oil on the vehicle, otherwise it may damage the paint. If the clutch oil has been
spilled on the paint, wash it immediately with water.
4. 1. The clutch pressure plate cannot be cleaned by using gasoline.
5. Do not use oil or liquid to clean the separating bearing as there is lubricant grease.
6. When installing the clutch, use a heat- and pressure-resistant grease to properly lubricate the clutch disk
spline and the transmission shaft spline to ensure that the friction plate can move freely on the
transmission shaft spline. Excessive grease will cause the friction disc slipping.
7. When the friction plate of driven plate is worn to the specified wear limit, the driven plate assembly
should be replaced in time to avoid clutch slips and scratches the surfaces of pressure plate and
flywheel.
8. When repairing the clutch assembly, do not use sand grinding or dry brush or compressed air to clean
so as to avoid flakes Wipe with dipped cloth or use vacuum cleaner to clean.
